Our Family

The most treasured heirlooms are the sweet memories of our family that we pass down to our children - unknown

Treasured Portraits Photography believes in family. We cherish family moments and want to hang on to them for a lifetime.  It is our family that makes this all possible. We are family based business. Since opening, we have evolved from a mother-daughter team to a full family business. They give us more than their support, they give us their time and talents. You will often see one or more of them behind the scenes. And so we invite you into our family as you have invited us into yours........

Donna

My love for photography began early.  My 3rd grade class was going to the zoo in Stuttgart, Germany.  I was so excited to document my day.  I asked my father if I could borrow his range finder camera.  He dug an old Brownie camera out of the drawer and I've had a camera in my hand ever since.  The Brownie still sits on my shelf today.  My formal education was to study motion picture production and photography at Montana State University.  I worked for six years for a national portrait studio and was published in their national catalog, before venturing out on my own to open my own business with my daughter Michelle.

My Family

I have a great family.  Family is the most important thing in this world to me. We are a family of photographer. My oldest daughter, Michelle, is a photographer and my business partner. She is married to Stillman and they have four cute little boys. She lives in Lewiston where together they teach ballroom dance. Next is my daughter Brigitte who is a photographer and dancer teacher. She lives in the Boise area with her husband Jeremy and they have one cute little boy. Last is my son Jordan, he is married to his wife Stephanie and they have two beautiful girls. They live here in the Boise area and adds his talents as my second shooter.

Michelle

I was raised in a photo lab with a camera in my hand. My parents toted me along to their classes while attending Montana State University. I studied and received my degree in business management and photography both at BYU-Idaho and Boise State University.  As a young mother I decided I needed something for my self.  I needed a creative and stimulating outlet.  Together my mom and I decided to accomplish one of our dreams and go into business for ourselves.  And what an incredible journey it has been.

My Family

I love my family. I am married to my husband Stillman, who I met at Boise State University.  Together we danced on the Boise State Institute ballroom dance team.  We have  been dancing together ever since, mostly in our kitchen. We currently teach ballroom dance at Main St. Dance in Lewistion, ID. We have four rambunctious little boys; they keep us on our toes and in stitches, both figuratively and literally. Stillman and I enjoy watching movies together and cheering on our favorite football team. Go Broncos!
